School starts on Monday August, 29, 2016. Please be sure to check the 2016-17 school calendar on the district website to make sure you have all of the important dates marked. We also have a Junior High calendar on the Junior High website that contains all of the important dates for the Jr High for the upcoming year. The Junior High website is full of lots of great information.
You can check it out for information about out One School, One Book Summer Reading Program as well. I hope you have all finished readying "The Things About Jellyfish" and are ready to have some great discussions about the book when you get back.
We are currently working on the schedule for iPad distribution. I will be emailing details soon. Parents of incoming 7th graders and new students will be responsible for coming into school for a 30 minute session to get details about some of the technology we use at the junior high school as well as pick up your iPad and make sure it is up and running before school starts. It is your responsibility to have your iPad charged and ready to go every day of school.
The Junior High is a great place to be and we are very excited for you to be with us this year. There are lots of great ways for you to be involved, both students and parents. Enjoy the next couple of weeks!
