Congratulations to all of the teacher nominees, but special congratulations to Mrs. Emery. She was nominated by two teachers, a student and a parent. She truly is a respectful, responsible and safe teacher who makes all kids feel valued in her class.
Students and staff were also asked to share some "Good Knight News"
Some of the good news we shared was about our Pink Out! Staff and students alike were proudly showing off their pink on Wednesday for the Pink Out! Check out some great pictures. Special thanks to Jillian, Riley, Katie and Abby for helping to set up the day. We were able to raise $150 to support breast cancer awareness in just one single day.
Next Tuesday is going to be a Terrific Tuesday. We will have a very exciting day as we have our Wonder-Walk-a-thon in support of craniofacial awareness connected to our One School, One Book summer reading. Let’s see how much money we earn during our walk-a-thon.
The Junior High will also be visited by musicians from the Heifetz Institute on Tuesday, and we will have a special showing of Back to the Future II. For those of you who might not remember, Back to the Future II went to the future and visited October 21, 2015. We will check out the movie to see how accurate their perception of 2015 was.
There is always a lot going on at the Junior High. Check out some great pictures from the classes this week as well as some outstanding student work. There are some great brochures from technology class as well as some book report drawings from ELA class.
