1/13/2017

It's a Fabulous Friday and there was a spectacular moon out this morning. I loved seeing the snow over the weekend and can't believe that it is almost all gone now, except for the piles left behind from the plows in parking lots.

I have some catching up to do. There has been a lot going on!!

Students in Mrs. Brocato's science class are learning about rotation and revolution. Tori H. found a very creative and clever way to explain the concepts, with the help of her furry friends.

Before the winter break the students on White Knights did a bottle flipping challenge and a mannequin challenge. Click on the links to check out the videos produced by Mrs. Reynolds' son Quintin Reynolds.

Madame Hubertus is using the recap app to have students record themselves speaking French. Check out this short video of Kelly M. from French class.

Special thanks to everyone who contributed to the hat and mitten tree. Our very own Frosty - played by Conner S. - was happy to hand out candy canes to all who contributed.

Students in Mrs. Rourke's ELA class conducted memorial services for a character in their book The Pigman. Students put a lot of effort into their planning including bringing candles, sparkling water to toast, playing a song on their instruments, and even changing their clothes to be in memorial appropriate attire.

This past Wednesday night, January 11, several families came to the library for a creative learning night.

Everyone had a great time. If you are interested in coming this upcoming Wednesday night, January 18 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, contact Bevin Winner  @ bevin_winner@ewg.k12.ri.us
