September 4, 2015

The classrooms, and hallways, have been busy places this week.

Another week down and hopefully more (most?) iPad issues resolved. If you continue to have issues with your Apple ID contact Jeffrey Bain in the technology department. If students are having a hard time with iBoss or downloading apps, have them come see me in the auditorium in the morning or in the cafeteria at lunch time.

Students have been busy using their iPads for research, projects, presentations, and doing homework and in class assignments.

Students have been exploring the world through world cultures and geography classes.

They have been studying polymers in science class - and even made a mess by making some homemade Gloop.

Based on feedback from the School Improvement Team last year, we will have a new format for parent conferences this year with several opportunities to meet your child's teachers this fall.
Parents will have the opportunity to meet the teachers at Open House on September 14. We will also have informal open hours for parents to meet and talk to their child's teachers on October 30 in the morning.

There will be NO evening parent conferences in the fall for Junior High. As always, contact your child's team leader to request a full team conference. We will also be hosting Student Led Conferences in the Spring.
